The “Pond Development Program” was designed for enhancing ecosystems and livelihoods of the people living in the vicinity of the pond.
The pond belonged to the Duttpura Village Panchayat (Gram Panchayat). The nearby context of the pond has two industries, two roads and a petrol pump adjoining the water body.
Pond is located a little away from the village on the SH connecting Baroda to Waghodia. There are no buildings around it.
Proposal
Overall design conceptualization is done from the perspective of pond health, recreation, conservation of elements and structures around.
The elements to be developed could be Pathways around the pond edge, Seating areas, recreation zones & village community activity areas.
